A critical component of our rural evangelism strategy is to establish a CDP centre in every village we reach. These centres are complete with a TV monitor, DVD player, power generator and a 16 DVD disc set with 50 hours of teaching, translated and dubbed into the village dialect.

Our CDP Coordinators made significant progress during the 2010 first quarter, enhancing CDP effectiveness by increasing village awareness and interest. In virtually every village the initial CDP sessions were filled to capacity with hungry crowds eagerly desiring continued spiritual growth following the outreach.

Jesus Alive are continuously receiving very encouraging reports from the local churches. At the 2009 Tanzanian Pastor's Conference Pastor Charles Budeba of Sangabuye village shared, "in our region we have four CDP centers…in every center we have about 580 people attending each session." Ps. Joseph Kidahi explained that, "because of CDP our memberships are growing and we are getting to know each other amongst different churches." Pastor Amoni Suge added that through CDP his village has "witnessed the changing of lives and even more are getting saved at CDP sessions." Because of CDP sustainable spiritual growth is being accomplished with ongoing effects.
